WSHS Rock'n'Ride Reunion

Rock'n'Ride Reunion-WSHS Year 10 1981/1982/1983 & Siblings
Sooooo the 10 years is up since the last Reunion Photo was taken, & now we're all half a century it's time for another get together/reunion...with a difference-this one is the Wanneroo Camping Version of a "Big Chill" weekend away-hopefully without the drama but defo with the awesome music.
Once again I've been dobbed in by Di to organise it so please share this event to our classmates-(if only Fb had been around for all the other reunions we've done) If you haven't been added to the invite list please dont be offended-it takes hours to go through facebook & add people-we will get there.
Bring your family, picnic rug, a hamper & your favourite party tipple and relax with new and old mates after a day of riding and exploring. Let's wind down for a weekend and make this the "Let's Catch Up" that seems to forever elude us all.
The party will be on the Saturday night but you are welcome to arrive Friday and stay Sunday night. If they don't change the burn off period we will also be able to have a bonfire. Bring along your favourite "our gen" playlist to plug into the blu tooth stereo system.
Still open for suggestions re catering for Saturday. BBQ facilities will be available.
An Ice-Cream/Coffee Van will be there Saturday Arvo and then again Sunday Morning for your convenience. Manjimup is only a 3 hour drive from Perth these days so we hope to see you all there.
Because I've relied on facebook invites I may have forgotten someone-please let me know if I have and if you know whether your going or not please tick either way so I know how many Porta Loo's & BBQ"s to hire.

About the Farm
As Fern Hill Farm isn’t completely set up to accommodate groups of guests as yet and to help preserve and sustain resources at Fern Hill Farm I will need to ask that everyone camping and riding can follow the guidelines below to ensure a great time is had by all and to ensure weekends like this are ongoing.
Some of the points are obvious to most however I have found in the past 3 years my generosity and trust has been taken advantage of and I don’t wish for the majority to miss out in the future due to the minority.
As most of you all well know I love having people come and stay at Funky Farm, trust friends in my home and love to cook and spoil my guests however for a weekend like this everyone will have to fend for themselves and be self sufficient.
Camping-there is a huge Hay shed for swags, a few power outlets and an abundance of room for campervans, tents, trailers etc. Food etc-please bring enough food for yourselves and yours for the whole weekend as well as eskys/fridges to keep it in-the fridge in the shed will be pretty full already I’m sure. There will be BBQ's available and I will have a tea/coffee area set up there and also a microwave in the shed. If you have a camper stove please bring it as well as your own plates/cups/cutlery-disposables ones would be great.
If you have a generator, portaloo etc please bring them-I will be hiring extra toilets for the weekend.
Alcohol-I’m sure this is a given however you would be surprised…although I love to share my wine collection when I have guests this is the sort of weekend where I would prefer guests to bring their own.
Towels and Linen-due to the abundance of washing and toll on precious water resources, can you please ensure that you bring your own linen, bath and beach towels. The Pool and Spa are gorgeous at this time of the year.
Showers-at the moment there are only 2 showers-one upstairs for people staying in the house and one downstairs for campers. As we rely on rain water and electricity for the tank and heating please keep showers to a minimum.
Bikes and Riding-There is an indemnity form that needs to be signed before going onto the track to ride by ANYONE and safety gear must be worn at all times. I am stoked to share my good fortune at having a track however I have my families future to think of too. This is not to be taken personally as its not you-its your insurance companies that concern me.
I have a limited amount of tools in the shed so please bring whatever you will need to maintain/repair your bikes over the weekend.
Rubbish-as there is no bin service at the farm I ask that you remove your rubbish when you leave-there are bins at the information bay at the Manjimup arches on your way back to Perth.
Mobile phone service is a lot better but sometimes spasmodic. The landline in the 08 9772 4874 at the top of the driveway and there is a landline available to use in the house.
DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED FOR SAFETY (AND SANITY) REASONS
DIRECTIONS: GOOGLE MAPS ENDS YOU UP IN THE BUSH
South West Hwy to Manjimup just past the arches....
Left onto Perup Road from South West Hwy and travel about 8kms opposite Chestnut Grove Wines on the right is a dirt road called Fernhill Road-turn down that road.
Go about 2kms and on the left is 2 dirt tracks-the first one is Dingup Hall-take the SECOND drive it has a green stick with 76 on it and solar lights.
Drive up this and via to the left and keep going for about 1.5 kms on the right is a gate with signs #76 and Fern Hill Farm-turn down here and keep driving till you see the house. Watch out for small children and dogs.
PLEASE NOTE-THIS IS A FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT BEING HELD AT A FAMILY HOME-NO DRUGS (OF ANY DESCRIPTION) OR FIREARMS PERMITTED----Thank you xx
