The Sustainable Development Committee of the CUSG Environmental Board is working on policies and practices pertaining to deconstruction, and more broadly ensuring the scope of contracts for development is more sustainable. Leadership also supports sustainability in the master plan and remodeling of the UMC that is being planned in the coming years. This follows the goals of stewarding student spaces to reflect sustainable living and carbon emission reduction.
