Free Royal Selfie Tour - National Gallery

What do you do when you're having a fantastic hair day and you want to take a selfie, but it's 1469 and cell phones with cameras won’t be invented for another 533 years? Paint a Royal portrait, of course!
Get to know saints, murdered teen queens, and broke artists in remote French communes on our Royal Selfie Tour.
We will discuss some of the most interesting works in the National Gallery on this two-hour tour including both popular hits and works that are more off the beaten path.
Boost your knowledge to impress your peers and take selfies with some of the original selfies!

Route: Trafalgar Square, Sainsbury Wing, Renaissance Galleries, Baroque Galleries, Nineteenth and Twentieth Century Galleries.

FInishing location: National Gallery, Room 41.

Appointment: 15 minutes prior to the starting time.

Recommended Age: 16+.
