Returning to the city of Derby for a fifth year, the Ramathon – now with a world record to its name – will again be based at Derby County’s iconic Pride Park Stadium; the home of the Rams.
Taking in the bustle of the city centre as well as the scenic grounds of Elvaston Castle Country Park, Ramathon is one of the flattest half marathon courses in the country, providing runners with the potential to achieve a personal best.
With a team run option, Mini Ramathon fun run, live entertainment and thousands of spectators lining the course on race day, Ramathon 2018 will be a day to remember.
Volunteers make up some of the most crucial roles to making this event a success. There are plenty of ways to get involved in the race including pre-race set up during the days leading to the event, helping at Pride Park Stadium, marshalling on the wider course, marshalling in the city centre, and handing out water at hydration stations.
Each area of the course has different start and finish times so for more information for choosing an area feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org. The times displayed above are the earliest start time and latest finish time.
In return for being a key player at this event, you will receive a drink, refreshments, a certificate of hours (if requested) and a medal and event t-shirt (subject to availability).
Even better: every volunteer who attends to support the Ramathon will have £10 donated to charity (up to £1,000).
