The market kicks off its 35th season in Takoma Park by welcoming back summer-only vendors and starting another year of offering fresh, local food all produced within 125 miles of Takoma Park.
Chef Danny Wells of Takoma Park’s Republic will kick off the season as a guest chef preparing recipes for market inspiration.
The market will be FILLED with plants on this kick off day so that you may begin your garden or fill your patio pots.
The market is also proud to sponsor the A Festival of American Primitive Guitar in Takoma Park this year and will host two artists who will perform for market goers.
New this season!
The market is introducing new monthly events this year including an Herb Festival in May, Garlic Festival in July and along with its popular Takoma Park Pie Contest in September. The market will continue to offer pop up spaces to local vineyards, breweries, spice makers, honey vendors, chefs and more this season.
