20-hour course focuses on the primary pelvic and lower limb muscles, exploring joints, muscles, fascia, the nervous system and their application to movement, yoga and working with common musculoskeletal conditions of the lower body.
Incorporating lecture, discussion, observation, hands-on exercises and yoga practices, you will learn about the relationship between muscles, movement and yoga asana to better identify lower body imbalances in your students’ practices.
Program addresses common dysfunctions and injuries for hips and knees, including how to apply the therapeutic essentials of yoga. Learn also how perform muscle tests and develop a personalized yoga plan based on the test findings.
