El Camino - La Procesión – A La Fiesta De Nuestros Queridos Difuntos (The Path - The Procession- To The Festival of Our Beloved Deceased).
Join us as we kick off the Dia De Los Muertos Lake Worth 2018 with a procession to the festival grounds. The purpose of the walk is for all of us to join together and support each other, as we celebrate the lives of our deceased loved ones. This walk could be in honor of friends, family members, fur babies or a cause dear to you.
We will begin the procession promptly at 3:30pm at Lake Worth City Hall (7 North Dixie Hwy. • Downtown Lake Worth, FL 33460), walking west to the Hatch 1121 festival grounds.
Come dressed up as a Catrina, Sugar Skull, Conquistador, or even what you wore for Halloween. Dressing up is optional and all are encouraged to join us for "El Camino."
While dressed up in your finest Calaca attire join us during Dia De Los Muertos Lake Worth 2017 and enter the "El Velorio" Costume Contest for children and adults with over $300 in prizes!
We are seeking volunteers to join us in the procession; musicians, dancers, and community members dressed up in day of the dead costumes.
