Libertaire, The Play

She was the woman nobody wanted, until two men were fighting for her. This is the untold story of French sculptor Auguste Bartholdi and newspaperman Joseph Pulitzer who fought discrimination and indifference for the once unwanted but now iconic Lady Liberty.

This award-winning original screenplay was written by local St. Petersburg College Art Professor, Elizabeth Indianos, and premiered at Tarpon Arts in 2017. It was such an overwhelming success that it is being brought back to delight audiences for another year.
