Pensacola Umbrella Sky Project

The original Umbrella Sky Project was born in Agueda, Portugal in 2012 and continues annually, when thousands of colorful umbrellas are suspended over the city's narrow streets to form a tantalizing urban art installation that draws people in and provides a canopy of shade for pedestrians. The pop-up art installation has gained a worldwide cult following, and now we're bringing the designers of the Umbrella Sky Project to Pensacola to create the Pensacola Umbrella Sky as part of 2017 Foo Foo Festival. The umbrellas will float high above historic Intendencia St. from Palafox to Jefferson in Downtown Pensacola for three months.

As part of this years' Foo Foo Festival, the Pensacola Buskers Festival will feature local and regional buskers performing under the shade of colorful umbrellas at the Pensacola Umbrella Sky Project!
