The population was 329 at the 2000 census.GeographyTimber Hills is located at .According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.8sqmi, of which, 0.8sqmi of it is land and 1.32% is water.DemographicsAs of the census of 2000, there were 329 people, 157 households, and 113 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 433.9 people per square mile (167.1/km²). There were 166 housing units at an average density of 218.9/sq mi (84.3/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 99.09% White, 0.30% Asian, 0.30% from other races, and 0.30% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.61% of the population.There were 157 households, out of which 15.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 68.8% were married couples living together, 2.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.4% were non-families. 25.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.10 and the average family size was 2.47.
