When astronaut André Kuipers begins to speak, you can usually hear a pin drop. Not during this special concert with Kamerata Zuid, though, because that's when you'll hear 'The Planets' by composer Gustav Holst. 'A Musical Journey Through Space' is a convergence of music, science and wonder. Kamerata Zuid, with ten wind players and twelve strings, will perform seven musical portraits: from the warlike Mars to the mystical Neptune. In this intimate setting, the string orchestra brings the cosmos to life through sound, colour and emotion.
