Connector: Frontier of Quantum Phenomena
Quantum science is creating new ways to understand, measure, compute, and communicate by taking advantage of phenomena such as superposition, entanglement, and coherence. Research in this area ranges from fundamental questions about how quantum systems behave to the development of technologies for computing, sensing, networking, communication, and materials.
NSF Frontiers Connector: Frontier of Quantum Phenomena will bring together researchers working across this broad landscape, including those studying fundamental quantum behavior, developing quantum devices and systems, creating enabling materials and technologies, or exploring applications that could benefit from quantum capabilities.
Who should attend?
Consider attending if your research involves—or could connect with—quantum physics, quantum information science, quantum computing, sensing, networking or communication, photonics, optics, atomic and molecular science, quantum materials, devices, algorithms, or the engineering and infrastructure needed to build and scale quantum technologies.
The Connector is also intended for researchers whose work could provide new applications, methods, materials, or disciplinary perspectives for quantum science and technology. You do not need to work exclusively in quantum research to participate; the goal is to bring together complementary expertise and identify connections that may not otherwise be obvious.
Upon completing the registration form, users will receive an email confirmation and a calendar invite.
