Office Tech Talks is DEV.BG’s event series where we visit the offices of leading technology companies. The format brings the tech community together for practical topics, real industry stories, Q&A, and networking – live, in the host company’s environment.

The next edition of the series is DEV.BG @ Capital.com: Office Tech Talks and will take place on 29.09.2026 at the Capital.com office in Sofia.

This will be our second Office Tech Talks event hosted at Capital.com’s office, following the successful first edition there in July.

This time, the focus will be on crypto infrastructure, custody, digital assets treasury, and the emerging world of agentic payments. We will look at how digital assets are actually stored, moved, and protected – and at the growing race to build the infrastructure that AI agents may use for future payments.

The event will be held in English.

Where does the crypto actually live?

“Where does the crypto actually live?” is a behind-the-scenes look at how Capital.com holds, moves, and safeguards digital assets.

In this talk, we will explore hot and cold wallets, custody, on-chain settlement, and what treasury means when the asset is a token. The session will offer a practical look at the infrastructure behind crypto operations and the decisions behind the security, movement, and management of digital assets.

The Race to Power the Agentic Economy: Who is Building the Agentic Payments Infrastructure?

Recent developments suggest that AI agents may increasingly prefer crypto as a natural way to transact. At the same time, a number of companies – both Web3 organizations and traditional financial players – are competing to build the infrastructure on which these payments will happen.

In this talk, we will explore the main players in this race and the emerging models around the future of agentic payments. The session will be relevant for people from the Web3 ecosystem, as well as for anyone interested in AI agents, fintech, payments infrastructure, and new models of the digital economy.
