DEV.BG @ Experian: Office Tech Talks

Tech & Business 07.10.2026 / miércoles / 19:00 - 21:20 Experian Office, Space Tower Building | Boulevard "Tsarigradsko shose" 86, Sofia Organizador: DEV.BG Gratis, con inscripción previa Inscribirse

Office Tech Talks is DEV.BG’s event series where we visit the offices of leading technology companies. The format brings the tech community together for practical topics, real industry stories, Q&A, and networking – live, in the host company’s environment.

The next edition of the series is DEV.BG @ Experian: Office Tech Talks and will take place on 07.10.2026 at the Experian office.

This time, the focus will be on how AI is reshaping the software delivery lifecycle, product innovation, the role of engineers, and the way teams make decisions, maintain quality, and manage complexity. We will hear two perspectives: one from Experian on scaling AI-driven product innovation in a large organisation, and one external perspective on how engineering work is shifting from writing code to controlling and validating systems.

✅ Registration is required as seats are limited.
✅ The language of the event will be English.

Program:

18:30 – 19:00 – Registration
19:00 – 19:30 – Talk 1: Scaling Product Innovation with AI – Vladislav Trifonov & Milen Yanchev
19:30 – 20:00 – Talk 2: From Writing Code to Controlling Systems – Krasimir Baylov
20:00 – 20:20 – Q&A session
20:20 – 21:20 – Networking with catering and drinks provided by the hosts

Talk 1

Scaling Product Innovation with AI

AI is rapidly transforming the way we build products, collaborate, and deliver value to clients. Drawing on experiences from initiatives across Experian, this session will explore how AI is reshaping software development – from coding and testing to solution design, knowledge sharing, and decision-making.

We will look at how teams are evolving their ways of working, how AI is changing the role of engineers and leaders, and how organisations can foster innovation while maintaining quality, security, and compliance.

Beyond the benefits, the session will also discuss the practical challenges that come with adopting AI at scale: building trust in AI-generated outputs, ensuring responsible usage, adapting engineering practices, developing new skills, and balancing productivity gains with the need for human expertise and judgment.

Through lessons learned and honest reflections, this session aims to provide a 360-degree view of how AI is transforming project delivery and innovation across Experian.

Talk 2

From Writing Code to Controlling Systems

Generating code is no longer the hard part. As AI spreads across the delivery lifecycle, the engineering job shifts from producing implementation to deciding what a system is allowed to do, verifying that it does it, and keeping that judgment consistent as the volume of generated code grows.

That shift creates work most delivery processes do not count. Validating generated output, setting boundaries for system behaviour, absorbing technical debt that accumulates without an author, and the informal coordination that keeps everything coherent – none of it appears on a board or in a velocity chart, and all of it scales with how much AI you use.

This session looks at what replaces code-centric delivery, using examples from real projects: the metrics that make hidden effort visible, the governance decisions that set clear boundaries for AI-generated work, and the architectural choices that reduce cognitive load instead of adding process.
