Healthy Habits, Healthy Budgets: How Community Co.
Please register here for the Campus County Connection Presentation "Healthy Habits, Healthy Budgets: How Community Co-Design Shaped a Nutrition and Food Resource Management Curriculum" at noon on November 12th, 2026.
Join us to learn about a Hatch-Smith Lever co-design project in which Dr. Angela Odoms-Young’s research team and CUCE-NYC EFNEP staff developed Healthy Habits, Healthy Budgets, a nutrition education curriculum integrating healthy eating and food resource management topics for adults and families with limited resources. Grounded in a chronic stress and coping framework, the project included multiple methods to develop lessons that are responsive to community needs and assets. Dr. Odoms-Young’s team and CUCE-NYC EFNEP staff will share the story of this project from initial concept to implementation, highlighting contributions from local stakeholders and lessons learned for future community-engaged research and programming.
Mann 100 will host the in-person presentation.
