Taste of Kontula Food Event

Taste of Kontula – A Culinary Journey from Vietnam to Syria! 

Join us at Kontula Shopping Centre to discover the lovely variety of food on offer. During Taste of Kontula, local restaurants will serve up max 5€ tasting portions featuring favourite dishes and recipes from different countries. It’s the perfect opportunity to explore new flavours, discover local food gems and enjoy a tasty afternoon together.

The event brings together eight restaurants representing a rich variety of culinary traditions:

Antalya – Turkey
Feng Wei – China
Kabul Mogadishu – Afghanistan
Mashawina – Syria
Pho Diem Hen – Vietnam
Randa Cafe – Iraq
Shishkebab – Iraq
Zitun Bakery – Iraq

DJ collective Yalla Collective will be setting the vibe from 12–2 pm, with a mix of Arabic pop and traditional music from across the SWANA region!

Join us at Lastenaukio (Kids' Square), right in the heart of the shopping centre, where you can grab a bite and enjoy a meal together around the communal table.

Taste of Kontula celebrates the unique restaurants of Kontula Shopping Centre and brings people together through the joy of food.
