Western Sydney Rodeo - Saturday Night

After attracting a sellout crowd last year, the Western Sydney Rodeo returns to Blacktown Showground on Saturday, 24 April as part of the Ringers Western Stampede Series, presented by National Rodeo Co. Get ready for a massive day and night of adrenaline-fuelled rodeo action, live entertainment and the very best of country culture. Inside the arena, some of Australia’s leading cowboys and cowgirls will battle it out across a thrilling program of bull riding, saddle bronc, bareback and barrel racing, with prize money and valuable Ringers Western Stampede Series points on the line. But the action doesn’t stop at the arena. From the moment gates open, the event precinct will come alive with live DJs, market stalls, amusement rides, great food, cold drinks and plenty more happening throughout the afternoon and evening. Saturday will also feature the Rodeo Runway, giving some of the best-dressed cowboys and cowgirls in the crowd the chance to show off their western style and compete for prizes. When the rodeo action wraps up, stick around for the official after-party, with live country music keeping the atmosphere rolling into the night. Don’t know which night to go? Each night is its own rodeo competition, finishing with its own Stampede Series finals, so you’ll get the same electric rodeo action no matter which night you choose. Gates open at 2:00pm, with live DJs, market stalls and amusements open from the moment you arrive. Rodeo Runway heats commence at 3:30pm, before the main rodeo action gets underway from 5:00pm.
